Oh Hey!
Come on in. It’s too hot and humid for you to be standing outside in July in Southern Maryland. Don’t mind the dogs, they aren’t as bad as they sound.
I’m not sure if you’re here for the art or to visit with the critters or to ask if that mushroom you just picked is edible…
But either way, I appreciate your interest.
I take a lot of photos of my work and of the place I’m lucky enough to call home. And like most of us these days, I’m trying to find the good and the positive at a time where both seem to be in short supply.
I’m also a Gen X female of a certain age. An eternal feral wildling on the inside who is beginning to see her Meemaw in the mirror more often. But it is what it is. I want to be kind when it’s my nature to fight.
So I’m going with sharing my defiance in the form of a visual diary of glass art and the beauty of nature in the everyday, and how, in my mind, the two are woven together in an intricate knot.

I can’t fathom a paid subscription, so there’s no pressure there.
Feel free to ask questions. I’m no sage by any means, but I’ve learned a thing or two. And right now, I’m learning about Substack the way I learn most things. Through trial, error, and the occasional bandaid.

I’m so glad you’re here!!! 💙
